There is a lot of preparation you must know in order to be ready
for the interview. You not only want to succeed in the interview,
but you want to be able to get hired and succeed in training. You
must be prepared to sell yourself and to fully understand what the
airline requires from you.
- Do you have little or no flight experience? If so, then it
is very important that you find the right school to prepare you.
Several questions you might want to ask yourself and the school
before you make a choice are:
| a. |
Does the school have a good pass record? |
| b. |
Do the employees and students seem happy? |
| c. |
Is the price fair? |
| d. |
Are the facilities, aircraft, simulators, etc. in good
condition? |
| e. |
What do I get when I complete? |
| f. |
What sort of Airline ties does the school have if any? |
| g. |
If they make a promise, do they come through with it? |
| h. |
How is the schools growth record? |
| i. |
Depth of management and airline experience? |
| j. |
Does the school have a good airline program? |
These are very important questions you want to keep in mind when
you are searching the right school. When you narrow down your
choice of schools, it is important that you are fully aware of
the costs and what you will be getting for those costs. Some of
the best ways to research this is to ask students that you pass
by when looking over the school. Don't just ask questions from
employees, but ask these questions to the students that are already
spending money there. Sometimes you will be surprised at the answer.
- Do you have Flight time (over 700TT) and can't get an interview
or don't know if you are ready? There could be several reasons
why. You can't just look at the industry as a whole and blame
it on how bad the news makes it look. There are good jobs out
there. The first thing would be for you to send us your resume
and let us take a look at it. Maybe you need more airline style
training. There are good programs that will enhance your qualifications
and fully prepare you to succeed.
